How to check if the user has read and write permission in the drive while generating any text or exc

Hi Team ,

I am using Oracle forms 11G.

We have a functionality which will allow user to generate Excel from excel .

I want to check when you save the file it should check if the user has READ/WRITE permission for that FOLDER/PATH or not .

How can I check it ?
