How to check health of vote disks?

haraldhMay 19 2010 — edited May 21 2010
Hi,

please apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm curious about how to check that voting disks are present in 10g? I know that I can list the configured ones with "crsctl query css votedisk", but this just lists the voting disks, no matter if they are available or not.
I also know that I can check cluster integrity with ocrcheck, but this only tells me about OCR files, and nothing about the voting disks...

My environment:
I've just installed Oracle 10g on two Linux-systems (Oracle Enterprise Linux), using an iSCSI Device as a shared storage, as described in "http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/hunter_rac10gr2_iscsi.html". Afterwards, I've applied Patch 10.2.0.4 to both clusterware and database. Voting disks (three) and OCR files are on an OCFS2-device, database files are managed with ASM.

Thanks,

Harald
