How to check Database performance is fine or not. Pls suggest

Hi All,

I am working as a junior oracle DBA. I need to check and confirm database performance is good or not. Actually, i have not done this performance test in earlier.

I thought run any query on database and analyse the "execution Plan" is enough.

Please provide your valuable suggestions.
