how to change the timeout parameter

Im new to oracle10g. we are using the 10g server release 2. We have a report which runs for more than 5 mins. After 5 mins, the timeout error message is displayed. how to avoid this. I have given the forms_timeout value as 1400 in default.env. Even after that, im getting the same message. Is there anything else to be done to avoid this timeout error??
Below is the message shown after 5 mins.

Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. This may have been a one-time error.*

Error Code 1460: Timeout*
Background: The gateway could not receive a timely response from the website you are trying to access, a DNS server, or another gateway server. This might indicate that the network is congested or that the website is experiencing technical difficulties.*
