How to change NLS_LANG permanently?

Hi,

I need to permanently change the NLS_LANG parameter from AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1 to AMERICAN_AMERICA.AL32UTF8.
How do I go about doing this? Thanks.
