How to change default Edition for the Database

Hi Need help on Editions, Please help me on this.

I have created one Edition Edition_1

Then Enabled the session for this Edition and modified a procedure.

So when I am using this procedure in the current Edition (Edition_1) this looks fine and using the updated version.

The application is running and if I have to force to all the existing connections to use the new Edition what are the best practices.

I am currently using Oracle 12c R2
