How to change AD password using non-SSL port?

User12580625-OracleSep 2 2010 — edited Sep 2 2010
Hello all,

I am trying to change AD password using non-SSL port like 389. After I setup AD connector this is using 389 as non-SSL port, I got a error whenever I try to change AD password. Error message is like "you need to use 636 SSL port instead of non-ssl port."

I wonder we can change AD password using non-SSL port? Do I need always to use 636 as secured port?

Any comment would be helpful...

My OIM is 9.1.0

Thanks

Jin
