How to Call Shell Program from APEX/PLSQL Block

Hi,

We have requirement to call the shell program, inside that need to FTP the files to remote server in APEX report. I have build shell script for FTP the file to remote server. But the thing is need to call the shell script program from APEX/PLSQL script.

Could you please help me how to achieve this requirement.
