How to call a certain process by pressing "enter"

I have a text item and a button which calls a process. The process inserts the input of the text item into the DB.
Everything great so far. Now it was wished:
After making the input in the text item, this process should be called simply by pressing "enter" (without pressing the button). The purpose is making navigation easier.
How can that be done? By using some kind of "onchange" function?
