How to calculate t-distribution (P-Value) in Oracle 10g

649542Nov 18 2008 — edited Nov 18 2008
Hi all,
I'm in need to calculate t-distribution (P-Value) in oracle. This funnction is similar to TDIST function available in Microsoft Excel.

In Excel, the function is like this:

TDIST(T, N-1, Tail).
where T is the value for which the probability needs to be calculated,
N-1 value is the degrees of freedom
and tail value can be one or two. If it is one, then it is P-value 1-tailed else it is P-Value 2-tailed.

Can any one help me with this equivalent function in Oracle.

Anyone please reply me as early as possible.

Thanks & Regards,
Gayathri Devi
