how to calculate calendar months between 2 dates

Hi All,

I am trying to calculate no of full calendar months between 2 dates.
For example :

01012011 - 01312011 -> 0
01012011 - 02252011 -> 1 (full month of jan)
01152011 - 02252011 -> 0
01012011 - 03302011 -> 2 (full months of jan and feb)

Appreciate any suggestions.
