How to burn a CD image

Hi,

I must be the only person in the world having this problem. I downlaoded all the zip files for Sun 8 for intel and have not been able to install Sun on my Dell Optiplex GX200. I think the problem is because when I burned the CD they were not created as images. I have not figure it out how to craete a CD image from a file. The software that we have at work to burn CDs does not allow us to burn an image from a file on a disk. It allows me to burn global images from another CD. Any help or suggestion as far as any CD burning software that will allow me to do this?
