How to bind variable with expressions?

Hello, I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.3.0

I created a query view object with a where clause like this ....tableID=:varID

I want to define a value throw expression for this bind-variable. Is this possible or I must use ExecuteWithParams in the adfc-config?

If you can please provide me any working link of any tutorial because I found a link in another question in the forum and it is now dead..
