How to avoid cartesian Product problem

Hi to all,

I need the solution
i have one table in which 2 records are there and i have to use this table 5 times in my sql query.So, actually 2 lines should come but 32 lines are coming (i.e. 2 power of 5 = 32). I can't able to find any solution regarding this.
Can anyone help me to avoid this problem
