Hi,
Our business are running on Oracle10g(10.2.0.5) RAC with two nodes, which are running RHEL6.3 with 128G Mem, 32 CPU threads.
On wednesday, the first node hung with lots of "log file syn" wait event. DBA can't login the OS and Instance(on the first node). So, we reboot the first node. The RAC DB recover to normal status.
By the monitoring system, we find that the interconnect bandwidth utilization is very high for all over past time, average value about 50Mb/s, max value 800Mb/s.
Before we built a RAC DB service xxx, which running all applications. so ,the all apps are connecting the first node, Not the second node. we think the RAC interconnect bandwidth utilization should be low. But the real value is very high.
I don't know how to analyze interconncect bandwidth? which data are transferred through the interconcet network?
Thanks a lot.
Kylix
