We use a 11g Cube ( with db version 11.2.0.3) having 6 dimensions with Period as the time dimension having levels Month and Year. TOTAL_AMOUNT is the only base measure ( from the fact table) from which the QTD and YTD are derived and calculated.The QTD and YTD depends on attributes of account dimension
Say for example if the Account is an EOP ( End of period) then QTD and YTD would be same as the TOTAL_AMOUNT for December monthly balance else QTD and YTD would be a moving total.
So in this scenario how to get the roll-up of QTD and YTD with in an account hierarchy (a single hierarchy could have these two type of accounts). Is this possible with the current design since the roll-up would happen only for the TOTAL_AMOUNT which is the base measure?
