how to add days to a date?

Dear all
I work with jdeveloper 11.1.4
I have created my BC.
I have 3 attribute on Vacation entity.
startDate
numberOfDays
endDate

I want to set the endDate value to be startDate+numberOfaDays

Can any one helps me.
