I am working with Oracle APEX (Interactive Grid / Interactive Report) and using the built-in Download action available in the Actions menu (CSV, XLSX, PDF, etc.).
Currently, when users download the report using this standard inbuilt Download button, the exported file contains only the report data.
Our requirement is to include the application/company logo in the downloaded output (especially for Excel/PDF formats), similar to a branded report.
Details:
- The download action is the default APEX action (not a custom button)
- The action is associated with Interactive Grid / Interactive Report
- No custom PL/SQL process or custom export logic is currently used
- We would prefer to continue using the inbuilt download functionality if possible
Questions:
- Is it possible to add a logo/header image to the downloaded file using the inbuilt Download action of IG/IR?
- If not supported natively, what is the recommended approach to achieve branded exports (logo, header, footer)?
Any guidance, best practices, or limitations around this would be very helpful.
