How to add a specified number of spaces between displayed items on one line

I have three Display Only items that appear on one line within a region. How can I add a specified number of spaces (e.g., 5 spaces) between each of the three items?

Each of the items have the following Displayed properties set:

Begin On New Line: No
Field: Yes
ColSpan: 1
Row Span: 1
