2712108Jul 15 2014 — edited Jul 15 2014

Hi I have a two node RAC cluster, with shared NFS, When I try to access the DB remote by following command the following error is shown.

sqlplus sys/password@scan.private.com:1521/rac as sysdba"

SQL*Plus: Release 12.1.0.1.0 Production on Tue Jul 15 13:35:33 2014

ERROR:

ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

I have added all the IP information to hosts files, How can i resolve this?

And I can log into the DB from the RAC nodes as following

sqlplus sys/password@scan.private.com/rac as sysdba

Thanks in Advance.
