How these values initial_extent, next_extent, max_extents changes ...

Hi Guru,

How these values initial_extent, next_extent, max_extents changes in DBA_SEGMENTS table. I have a table XYZ , and i just inserted around 70Milion records in that table. so after insertion i verified in DBA_SEGMENTS table for the corresponding table XYZ the values initial_extent, next_extent, max_extents remain same.

So could you please help me out from this problem.
