This thread regarding Oracle Reports 10g(any version of the reports it is common) question, i have asked here because everybody

When the symbol is created and what is the significant meaning of this symbol ?
What the symbol is called c/o or anything else which one is meaningful ?
If anyone can provide the any document or link about this symbol , it will be helpful to me.
