Currently, these iSCSI luns are running on SAS storage, datastores on running on NFS on SAS as well which has performance issues, in addition, we are experiencing various other performance issues.
To improve the performance, one suggestion is to move iSCSI boot luns which only has 10GB eac for ESXi hosts to SSD . Well, anything running on SSD would be better than SAS, that is not a question. The question is how significant it is? It would only help when in boot up VM's, not too much help on datastores performance running on NFS. Make sense?
