...Hello my fine DBA People...
I currently have a 2 Node RAC 11gr2 Cluster running with one Scan Listener configured.
In my /etc/hosts file you will see one "Scan Name" assigned to One Static IP Address.
Can I add more? If so How?
My question is simply this:
I see one "Scan Listener" running...
Do I need to have a Scan Listener per Server per cluster?
How should I look at the Scan as a whole?
I know what it does, I just don't how to figure how many I actually need?
