How generate a moving graph from applet??

Need ur help outhere.Im not sure what approach should i use to generate a graphic graph.Means i need to generate a moving graph based
on the data query in dbase.Others function,the graph will plot based on
rate we set on(ex:0.5 per sec).Did applet will support this kind of function .Do anyone outhere have experience about this??
I do create a graph using servlet.But its only a static graph.
Need ur guide....tq.
