How do you turn off auto sizing in GUI builder?

Hi,

I'm developing my first GUI app using netbeans IDE 6.5.1. As I place and move controls around the form they keep resizing and repositioning them where I don't want them. This is driving me a little batty. How do you turn this feature off? Or better yet, if someone has a link to a tutorial that describes this feature then I could learn how to use it. I havn't been able to find a tutorial myself but I don't know what the feature is called so I am just guessing at auto format or auto resize. It looks like a very powerful feature but I need to learn how to use it correctly.
