How do you compile in the command prompt/terminal on all platforms?

Hey, I'm trying to figure out how to compile these source files and a lib file on all platforms. So far all I have is how to compile it on a mac:

java -cp swing-layout-1.0.3.jar com.sun.tools.javac.Main Main.java MainScrean.java GCanvas.java

How do you compile that for windows and linux?
