How do we relate total block changes and physical writes in AWR 11g..

Hi All,

Could you please clarify the block changes and physical writes happened in the awr report. pls find the attached AWR section

Block size- 8K

Duration - 1311 min

version - 11gr2

block changes = 2576.5 ie, 2576.5 * 8k * 1311 * 60 /1024/1024= 1660 GB

total physical write bytes = 433887532544 /1024/1024/1024 = 404 GB

as per our knowledge block change happens only when write occurs, hence both these values should be same....how these difference comes from
