Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)

I searched for this and I did not find it. Apologies if this has been answered.

If all else fails we can always use a firewall plus rename some files, but... Is there an "official way" to disable the web interface to the db?... as in not bringing up the httpd service? What is the most graceful way of doing that?

Assuming one can always bring it up again if needed.
