how do i remove java from registry

i tried to install j2se and it went wrong... now i can't re install or uninstall, because the installshield says that i need to remove previous program' but doesn't removes it.
i tried anything ti remove the program and couldn't , i know that some how i can delete the program total from the computer and registry and then i could install the program again...
please tell me how to remove the prog. from the registry.
