How do i get WSDEPLOY to use existing WSDL

843834Aug 19 2003 — edited Feb 17 2004
Hi,

I know "WSCOMPILE -gen:server config.xml" uses config.xml to find the WSDL but how do I tell WSDEPLOY to use an existing WSDL?

The tutorial says wsdeploy calls wscompile with the gen:server option but that's all it says; config.xml is not mentioned. I tried putting config.xml in my working directory and the WEB-INF dir of my raw.war but no use. I tried the same thing with my existing wsdl also.

When I run "wsdeploy -o out.war in.war" it ignores my existing wsdl and creates one. Is there an entry needed in jaxrpc-ri.xml maybe?

in.war contains:

WEB-INF/jaxrpc-ri.xml
WEB/INF/web.xml
WEB/INF/existing.wsdl
WEB/INF/classes/if.class
WEB-INF/classes/impl.class

Anyone know what I'm missing?
