How Do I export Dates into Excel as DD-MON-RR and exclude the Time

I'm getting the formatting below for all of my dates when exporting my results into Excel: I'm currently using V 2.1.1.64.45

01-JUN-10 12.00.00.000000000 AM

All that displays in the grid is 01-JUN-10, just after its been exported to Excel does it have all this time added to it.
