How do I create an incident rule to monitor Alert Log errors in 12c Cloud Control

I get the feeling this will be blindingly obvious in retrospect. I have 12c Cloud Control set up against a dozen hosts and numerous DBs. I have a rule set for a Database Instance that picks up many items of interest - such as FRA filling up. I've selected every Metric Alert to do with the alert log, including "Generic Alert Log Error". But I don't get notified of errors appearing in the alert log, like ORA-10173.

Also, is there somewhere in the doco, or a data dictionary view, that I can list all available metrics?
