How Change in IP Address affects the Application Server and Database Server

Hi,
We have to change the IP address of our Application server and Database server,
How much will be the impact of this?

Where all we will have to make the changes?
Making changes is fine or should we go for total new installation of the servers?

Need some urgent help on this.
