How can you make SQL Developer remember the Java path selected?
636514Dec 15 2011 — edited Dec 16 2011In the past, the first time I started SQL Developer after installation it asked me my Java path. After that, it never seemed to ask me again. However, since I've moved to Windows 7 64-bit I've noticed that it doesn't seem to remember. Is there a way I can save my Java path so I am no longer prompted? Or provide it as a command line argument in my Windows shortcut? Or update an initialization file in my SQL Developer directory? I'd prefer not to set a JAVA_HOME variable if I can avoid it due to some version conflicts with some other software I'm running.
I am running the latest released version of SQL Developer (V3.0.04) on Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks!
