How can i transform a coordinates of google maps into a oracle geometry data? i´m using apex

Hi i´m new using apex so i don´t know how to change a data from my database, i get the lat and lng from a polygone that i just draw in google maps and i saved in a varchar2 data type, what i want is change from a VARCHAR2 to a GEOMETRY data.

this is an exaple of the data i have in VARCHAR2

16.46769474828897,-106.259765625,24.44714958973082,-92.4609375

Can somebody help me please?

and sorry for my english i just know a little
