How can I remove and reinstall APEX

Hi all,

I had APEX working fine with my Oracle 11.1.0.6 database running on Linux X86 using the PL/SQL gateway. For some reason it no longer works. When I try to access the admin console or any of the forms I created, the page does not render properly. For instance images do not appear. Since I was testing only, I would like to uninstall everything related to APEX from my database and reinstall it. The database is production and I don't want any harm to come to my other schemas. I appreciate any help.
