Objective is to generate reports for data in Mysql database using Oracle Analytics Server.
What I have tried so far:
Allowed remote connections to Mysql DB by tinkering my ini. file to bind 0.0.0.0 instead.
Enabled remote connection on Oracle Analytics Sever
Made sure I can connect remotely from the host that runs the OAS 172.16.1.96. Also, created the host with username and pass as 'oas' , 'oas' . DB name 'oas'
I still cannot pin point the disconnect'...
I have looked at some of the online materials but am still unlucky.
IP 172.16.1.221 runs mysql DB
