Hello all,
I'm a Oracle developer from the version 7 and I have always worked and installed it on Windows Platform. Now, I need to use Oracle on Linux Ubuntu System.
So I find on this link
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html

And I downloaded the file (.rpm) from the link of this description.

Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Linux x86
- Available for Debian, Mandriva, Novell, Red Hat and Ubuntu

Could explain me how I can install the oracle-xe-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm file?
Thank's for any suggestions about my problem

Bye
