Integration

We are currently running IPLanet 4.1/SP7 with EAServer 3.6.1. We are trying to upgrade to IPLanet 6.0 SP2 and we are not successful.

We have moved our init entries from the obj.conf to the magnus.conf.

In 4.1, we had to change from using the IPlanet JRE to JDK 1.3.1. When we try this same thing under IPLanet 6.0 neither the admin server nor the web server will successfully start. When we run using the netscape JRE, we get java errors from our application indicating certain classes cannot be found. In this case our application is Sybase PowerDynamo trying to do a java.CreateObject.

The documentation states that we should be able to point to a different JVM instead of using the one that comes packaged with IPlanet. We would like to know how this can be accomplished.
