How can I display the List icons in a Top Navigation Menu in an APEX Application?

DionisisJun 4 2023 — edited Jun 5 2023

Hello all,

Pretty much the title says it all.

I have made an apex application. I am using Oracle DataBase 21c and Oracle APEX 23.1.0.

The application is a typical Oracle APEX Application and it has in Application Definition | User Interface | Navigation Menu the following settings:

Display Navigation : On

Navigation Menu List : Navigation Menu

Position : Top

List Template : Top Navigation Menu

Template Options : All checked

The Navigation Menu is a static List I have created with two items.

Both of them have a casual Icon declared for eachh one of the two, e.g. fa-home.

The Theme Style is: Vita if that has any relation.

My issue is that I fail to make these two icons to be displayed on the Navigation menu, when the menu is of the Position is Top Navigation Menu. I have no issues on didsplaying them when the potision is Side.

How can I achieve this effect?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Dionisis
