How can I change a row's color based on a value?

Rick SilvaOct 15 2015 — edited Oct 17 2015

Right now my report is zebra-striped: One row green, next row white, next row green...  I would like to keep that for most of the report, but for rows where a date field is older than today I want to color the row red.

I was looking at the theme being used and it seems to use "substitution variables" to zebra stripe the rows, like this:

     <tr #HIGHLIGHT_ROW#>

But I can't tell what sends the value for HIGHLIGHT_ROW to it.  Can anybody tell me?
