How 2 Configure Oracle 9iAS ?

EidyJan 19 2005 — edited Jan 24 2005
Hi
Guide me please
Because i m much worried to configure oracle 9ias.

i want to deploy the applications on web and my Application was developed in Oracle Developer 6i
and database oracle 8i.
i Have install Oracle9iAS on 2 hosts
i have almost all the required hardware and software
i.e.
HOST 1
P4 machines 3000 megahertz
memory 512MB RAM
swap memory 1gb
HOST 2
P4 machines 3000 megahertz
memory 1024MB RAM
swap memory 1gb
On Host1 i keep oracle9i database and Oracle9i Infrastructure
And
On Host2 i keep 9iApplication Server
a.Business Intelligence and Forms
INSTALLATION SEQUENCE....
1.Oracle 9ias Database on host 1
2.Oracle 9ias Infrastructure on host 1
3.Oracle 9ias Applicatios Server (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND FROMS) on Host 2
On HOST 1 Infrastructure and 9i database ( installed and working)

- Oracle 9i database is installed (Seprate Home)
- Oracle 9i Infrastructur Installed (Seprate Home)
On HOST 2 Application Server

While installing Business Intelligence and Forms, On The CONFIGURATION ASSISTANT Screen i only configure
1.Oracle 9ias Portal
2.Oracle 9ias Report Services
3.Oracle 9ias Froms Services

And after installation i configure "Oracle 9ias Discoverer" by Enterprise Manager.
this configured as it is configured as During the Installation.
Now
The Discoverer shows Unkown Status.
and
the Report Services shows Down Status.
because on it's home page all us showing "Unavailable"
and
the Portal show the up status but the portal's component "Provider" shows the Unknown status
because niether web nor database available there in "Provider" home page.

Now Which component should i configure and what are the addtional Steps for Discoverer.
i will b extremely thankful for Guiding me urgently
thanks....
take care..
bye
