Hosting a demo ApEx Application

PGRWNov 23 2006 — edited Jan 30 2007
Hi All

I have XE installed on a Windows XP Home PC. It runs like I'd hoped, very fast and I've developed an app I'd like to demo. In order to release this to the world I have done the following and yet I still can not see this from outside. Any help greatly appreciated!

My (wireless) router has been altered to lease my IP address for 30 days (If I change my IP addrsss to fixed, I have to mess about with DNS severs etc)

On the router, I've set up port forwarding for port 80 to the IP of the PC with XE on it

In XE, I changed the port to 80 a few weeks ago

In XP, I have right clicked on the wireless network connection icon and selected Properties>Advanced(tab) and then settings: I am then presented with the Firewall Form. On exceptions for the firewall I added a port called "Web" and set the port to 80 and finally on the advanced tab, then I clicked on Advanced and selected the wireless network, clicked settings and then added "Web Server" which was already there.
I'm not sure if there is something else I need to do?
Thanks in advance

Phil
