Horizontal scrollbar on java.awt.List?

Hi,

How do I get a horizontal scrollbar on a java.awt.List?

I can only scroll vertical and some of the listitems have too long text so it ends with ... and I cant scroll to the end of it.

I tried to put the List into a ScrollPane but then the vertical scrollbar is to the very right and I have to scroll horizontal to see and use it. That is not a good solution.

Can someone please help me?
