High write I/O on Oracle home disks with Sys CPU - from zpool-u01pool

Stefan AbrahamFeb 3 2021

Version --> Oracle Solaris 11.3 SPARC T7-2
Running --> Oracle 2 node RAC 12.2.0.1
Hi All,
We are observing very high right I/O on disks facilitating the Oracle home zpool. (Write IOPS reaching 80K with average ~45K).
Also very high SYS CPU is observed on the Solaris nodes. And this SYS CPU seems to be caused by the root process named - 'zpool-u01pool' -- zpool name for Oracle home is u01
Oracle home is not clustered, and these servers does run two node ORacle rac. No unusual I/O on ASM disks with datafiles.
IOstat and VMstat outputs attached.
Appreciate any advise on same.
Thanks,
