High Redo Generation

Dear DBA's

In our production environment we observe heavy generation of redo logs daily at particular time say between 4-5 am

Application team says no batch job etc ,what can be cause of this ,do you face this anytime

Our database(Oracle 10g on linux-VLM) dont shows any impact on performance but will it have any impact in future
