High number of REDO log switches
608942Nov 19 2007 — edited Jan 17 2008I ran a script to check the number of redo log switches per hour. I have read that Oracle recommends to be under 4 log switches per hour in normal conditions. As you can see from the table below, we are experiencing considerably higher figures.
What can we do? I am worried that this has an impact on our DB performance.
