Hello Everybody

We are seen sporadic high I/O service time in our EMC DMX SAN storage, when this happens our application users experience slowness because the
database is slow. This had happened in a couple of difference EMC arrays in different locations, different application and databases, both database
configurations are similar, they are EE RAC and use ASM under Red Hat 5.

We can see that high I/O service time also through the OS tools, However EMC has repeatedly said that they do not see any problem in the array, no hot
spots, no problems at all. I am wondering is someone else has ever experienced a similar issue?.

EMC is telling us that is not a array issue however they are recommending to reduce our I/O. To be hones the EMC support we have received
is very disappointing.
