High CPU usage on increasing SGA

I have a procedure that loads a lot of data from various external tables into the DB and of course in parallel lot of reports, querying, etc.

I knew that the SGA was small we had it only for 2G and the ADDM report also asked me to increase the SGA and hence I did increase the SGA to 4G.

The queries regarding the reports, etc seem better now, but the procedure that loads the data seems to be using a lot of CPU and I think is slower now. Any ideas why this could have happened. No changes to the procedure were done.
